Like many flooring materials, concrete is porous and needs to be sealed. Even if the Garland, Texas concrete contractors who installed your floor sealed it, the concrete should be re-sealed as time goes by. You’ll know it needs to be re-sealed when the surface of the concrete begins to show a dull or uneven appearance. But before a Garland concrete company comes to re-seal your floor, make sure it’s clean. Use a mix of detergent and water, and be sure to remove any oil stains from the surface. If there are parts of the floor where the previous sealer has completely worn down you should first touch up those areas before applying the new seal to the rest of the floor.
