Work Description: My garage roof was stripped down to the beams and, rebuilt like new. 2 layers of plywood, insulation, a waterproof topping and, topped off with tar paper. The seal was done all the way up the para-pit walls and, topped off with high grade aluminum reflection paint.
Comments: I'm very happy. The job started on Monday morning and, was completed the same day, before 6pm. Today (2 days later), there was a big thunderstorm and, heavy rainfalls. I went out to the garage to check and,... dry as a bone. I'm storeing some expensive items from timt to time and, dryness is of the upmost importants. I needed peace of mind and, I got it. I felt good about A-1 roofing, from my first conversation with Alex when, I called for a free estimate. Mike showed up to do my estimate and, it was "Easy". I found them very personable, easy to work with and, willing to work with me on materials, options and, priceing. They showed up on time for my estimate and, for the job. They kept the job appointment as scheduled, even though there was a major rainstorm and hurricane winds and, 2 tornados hit in Brooklyn and Queens (I am in Queens). They could have easilly put me off to get more work out of the storm disaster since, I had already signed a contract. But, they didn't. There was a 4 man team working together on the job. They all worked together wonderfully and, hassle free. This is a company that has a "payrolled" staff of professionals who work well together and, did a great job. Peter (an employee), did an excellent job covering everything with tarps and the clean-up job he did was as good as the actual work done on my garage roof.
